Idaho	At least six (6) semester credit hours, or nine (9) quarter credit hours, of elementary student teaching or two (2) years of satisfactory experience as a teacher in grades K-8 is required.
Idaho	Student teaching is calculated by semester credit or quarter credit hours
Idaho	The higher education institution establishes the requirment for Standard Secondary and Standard Exceptional Child clinical observations and student teaching.
Kentucky	Kentucky does have a state requirement for student teaching, but not have a set number of hours for clinical observation. However, institutions must address national standards adopted by the state that include a field experience and clinical practice component. Plus the accreditation standards used by the state require clinical observation.
Kentucky	For column 5- In Kentucky, a cooperating teacher must have a masters degree and four years of teaching experience.
Nebraska	Column #6 - Required student teaching experience full-day for one semester (at least 14 weeks) or a minimum of ten weeks full-day for each of two field endorsements.
Washington	In keeping with performance-based reform measures, Washington State rules do not set specific requirements for duration of student programs, including internship, which are the means toward prescribed ends. The state does prescribe the competencies (knowledge and skills) which candidates must demonstrate. In practice, no program requires fewer than 10 weeks; 10 weeks or 15 weeks are the most common patterns.
